These testings can lead to water changes, but you do not need to wait until you find something alarming before the water is changed out.

As a matter of fact, most owners of tropical fish tanks recommend that the water be at least partially changed once a month. Other highly encourage tank owners to do this as often as once a week.

Owning tropical fish tanks can be a very involving process, but a rewarding process as well.
